Point to point 2

“This series of artworks, titled ‘Point to Point 2’, has been inspired by my recent projects that delve into the impact of cancer on my body. The genesis of this collection commenced with a prolonged contemplation of a dried flower over the course of several days, observing the unfolding metamorphosis within.

In a poignant juxtaposition, I drew parallels between my own body – one that has forfeited its fertility prematurely due to a myriad of trials and an early entrance into menopause – and the withered flower. Despite relinquishing its reproductive capacity, the flower thrives, retaining its allure and undergoing daily transformations. Within a composition that incorporates elements from a self-portrait, the scattered petals of the flower endure, a testament to resilience.”
